Call A Pet Detective!

I think my cat killed Mum’s hamster. I woke up to her screaming at him to “get out” of there. We met in the hallway and she told me what happened. She didn’t check the aquarium/cage, she was too afraid. When she left for work, I checked and the hamster was gone. There wasn’t even a body left. I’m hoping the hamster escaped and is running loose in her bedroom. Ugh. My cat, he’s caused so much grief and stress in our house. I hate it. He acts a fool at night. I have to build a “barrier” in the hallway every night because the neighbors have complained about hearing him run in the middle of the night. I used three laundry hampers, an old couch back cushion, six decorative pillows, and the vacuum. It’s such bullshit and typing it out now just makes me laugh. He’s so ridiculous. I have to get a large cage for him but I’m absolutely broke. I paid my bills though. Just barely. I’m so sick of living like this and yet, looking through my bank statements and even in the moment, I’m spending my money on bullshit. For instance, I spent $5.28 on bubbly drinks at the convenience store so I had something nice to drink while at work. Do I really need that? Water hydrates just as well, if not better. Ugh. I need to budget and actually do it. I haven’t allotted money for frivolous things like bubbly drinks on the way to work. I should be getting that at the grocery store and storing it at home. I need another boost of income/money to get ahead. I’m constantly behind and I don’t want to be like that anymore.

Thankfully it’s a short day at work. By short, I mean we’re not open as long on Saturdays. I gave up my shift last Thursday so yesterday was my Monday and it was rough.
